Message	I literally picked up a mig welder and started welding. I needed catalytic convertors...so i bought two catalytic convertors and welded them into shitty ebay test pipes. First welding project id ever tackled. Welds werent pretty, but the project was a success. I read up a bit online, then started practicing on a few pieces of thin steel. Aside from basics...youll learn more by picking up the welder and trying to weld than you will reading through an entire text book.
